Fortress of Isla Negra.

Rorke's Drift in 28mm Scale.

Photo record of the making of the terrain board of Rorkes Drift, 28mm scale from the Colonial Wars Period in Africa, or Zulu Wars. When it is finally completed with the figures, buildings etc, these pictures of the game and scenery will be in the Rorkes Drift Album. New Project. Ragnit, 1275. The Northern Crusades.

A 28mm scale model of the Lithuanian log fortress at Ragnit, on the River Niemen in 1275. This is to be set on a terrain board 18 feet by 6 feet. This seige was during the Northern Crusades.
This albums intent, is to show you all the aspects of the building, design and construction. With the photographs to aid you.

Desert Boards

First pictures of the new Desert Terrain boards, when finished will give us a 18 ft x 6 ft area. These 6 boards are 6 ft x 3 ft each, and will assemble any way to give us a varied board.
Made primarily for Flames of War, but others have other ideas!!!!

The Raid on St Nazaire.The ultimate Commando raid destroying the Normandie dock at St Nazaire, only place large enough to take the Tirpitz for repairs outside Germany. Won Best of show and Terrain at Salute 2001 and Ilford, Best Terrain and Best demonstration Game.

Smolevichi, Partisans in White Russia.This piece of terrain went out to Salute and SELWG in 2002, and won the Best Terrain at both shows. As well as best demonstration, and a best of show, so well done to the chaps at SSWG.
Based on the exploits of the Partisans in White Russia.

The Siege of Cholm 1942.Battle of the pocket at Cholm, it lasted 105 days in a bitter winter of 1942. The terrain board shows about one third of the pocket at the time it was eventually relieved. It won the Best Terrain at Salute 2003 and two other shows.

Desert War 1940-43These desert style buildings in the town were made in 1995, for a show at Ilford. But the entrenchments were made by the club in 1997.

Monte Cassino, Italy. 1944.Best of show and Best Demonstration Game as well as the Best Terrain, quite an achievement for only two shows, portraying the Castle hill below the summit proper of Monte Cassino. We will add some better shots in the next few weeks.

Piepers Advance during the Ardennes Offensive 1944.A photo album on our mini campaign set during the Battle of the Bulge, based on Peipers advance to Trois Ponts through the Ardennes, in 1944.

Rorke's Drift.

Rorke's Drift, the epic defence of the station in the Zulu War of 1879. Made famous by the films, Zulu and Zulu Dawn. This is a 28mm scale re-enactment, on a one for one basis. All the figures are still available from Redoubt Enterprises, as well as the buildings.
This terrain piece won the Salute 2006 Best Demonstration Game.

Teugn-Hausen, 1809.This terrain piece was made to represent the Battle of Teugn-Hausen, in 1809. During the War on the Danube 1809. It was taken only to Salute in 2004 and Walthamstow the Loughton Club Show where it was the winner of best terrain.

Roman City.A few pictures of the 28mm Roman City. This was made for the fun of it, really as a accompaniment piece for the Gladiatorial Arena. The pillars and facings, statues and lions, etc, are all cast in resin.
